Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 29, 2026
At Spaghetti Press, care is tucked
into every little detail—
and we bring that same thoughtfulness
to how we collect, use, and protect
your personal information.
Our policy is simple: we collect the information
we need to operate our website, fulfill your orders,
provide customer service, and send emails you have asked to receive.
We do not sell your personal information, rent or trade our mailing list,
or share your information with other companies for their own marketing.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Spaghetti Press is a New York-based small business.
In this policy, “Spaghetti Press,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Spaghetti Press and the website and online shop we operate.
Questions about this policy or your personal information may be sent to:
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the website.
When you place an order
When you purchase something from our shop, we may collect:
Your name
Your email address
Your billing and shipping addresses
Your phone number, if provided
The products you purchase
Your order number, order history, discounts, payment status, and shipping information
Information needed to calculate taxes, prevent fraud,
process refunds, and provide customer service
If you provide another person’s name or address—
for example, when sending an order directly to a gift recipient—you are responsible
for making sure you have permission to provide that information.
Payment information
Payments are processed through the payment providers available through our Squarespace checkout.
Depending on the payment method you choose, your information may be processed
by Squarespace Payments and its service providers, including Stripe and Sift, or by PayPal and its related payment services.
These providers may collect your payment card information, billing details, device information, and other information needed to complete the transaction, prevent fraud, and comply with financial laws.
Spaghetti Press does not directly process or store your complete payment card number. Payment providers handle that information according to their own privacy policies and security practices.
The payment options displayed at checkout may vary depending on your device, location, and the payment methods currently enabled on our website.
When you join our email list
When you voluntarily sign up for Spaghetti Press emails, we collect your email address and, if requested or provided, your name.
Signing up for marketing emails is optional. Placing an order does not automatically add you to our marketing list unless you separately choose to subscribe.
When you contact us
If you email us or submit information through a website form, we collect the information you choose to provide,
such as your name, email address, message, order number, or other details needed to respond.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in an email or website form.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, Squarespace and related technology providers may
automatically collect information such as:
Your IP address
Your browser, network, and device information
The pages you visit
The website or page that referred you to us
Your clicks, searches, scrolling, and other interactions
The date and time of your visit
Shopping-cart and checkout activity
General location information inferred from your IP address
We use this information to operate and secure the website, understand how visitors use it,
troubleshoot problems, and improve the shopping experience.
Checkout may also use an address-completion service, such as the Google Places API,
to suggest or complete billing and shipping addresses as you type.
3. How we use your information
We may use personal information to:
Process and fulfill your order
Accept and verify payments
Send order confirmations, receipts, shipping updates, and other transactional messages
Purchase shipping labels and deliver packages
Respond to questions, returns, refunds, or customer-service requests
Maintain order, tax, and accounting records
Detect fraud, misuse, or security problems
Operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the website
Understand general website traffic and shopping activity
Send marketing emails when you have chosen to receive them
Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements
Enforce our policies and protect our legal rights
We do not use personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising at this time.
4. When we share information
We share personal information only when it is reasonably necessary to operate the shop,
provide a service you requested, or meet a legal obligation.
Website and commerce providers
Our website and online shop are hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace receives information necessary
to host the website, manage orders, operate checkout, provide analytics, and send website and order-related emails.
Payment and fraud-prevention providers
Payment information may be shared with:
Squarespace Payments
Stripe
Sift
PayPal and related payment services, when PayPal is selected or enabled
Other digital-wallet or payment providers shown at checkout
These providers use information according to their own privacy policies.
Shipping providers
We may share your name, shipping address, contact information, and order details with companies
that help us prepare and deliver your order, including:
Squarespace shipping services
Shipping-label or fulfillment services such as Shippo, if used
Postal and delivery carriers such as USPS or UPS
These companies receive only the information reasonably needed to prepare, route, deliver, track,
or address a problem with your shipment.
Other service providers
We may share limited information with companies that assist with website hosting, email delivery,
analytics, accounting, taxes, security, fraud prevention, customer service, or other business operations.
These providers are permitted to use the information only for the services they provide or as otherwise allowed by law.
Legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to:
Comply with a law, court order, subpoena, or government request
Investigate fraud, misuse, or security concerns
Protect the rights, property, or safety of Spaghetti Press, our customers, or others
Enforce an agreement or policy
Establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim
A change involving the business
If Spaghetti Press is reorganized, sold, transferred, or combined with another business, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any new owner would remain responsible for handling the information consistently with applicable law.
5. What we do not do
Spaghetti Press does not currently:
Sell personal information
Rent or trade our mailing list
Give customer information to other businesses for their own marketing
Use personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising
Add someone to our marketing list solely because they placed an order
Service providers that help us operate the shop are not considered purchasers of your
personal information simply because they receive the information needed to perform services for us.
6. Emails
Order and service emails
If you place an order, we may send emails concerning your purchase, payment, shipment, delivery,
refund, or customer-service request.
These are transactional messages rather than marketing emails. You generally cannot unsubscribe
from them while we are completing or addressing your transaction.
Marketing emails
We send promotional or newsletter emails only when you have signed up
or otherwise given us permission.
You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom
of an email or by contacting us at hello@spaghettipress.com.
Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not stop necessary order, account,
or customer-service communications.
We may retain a limited record of an unsubscribe request so that we can honor it and avoid
adding the address back to the mailing list by mistake.
7. Cookies and website analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies are small files or pieces of information stored on a browser or device.
Squarespace uses necessary cookies to securely display the website,
operate the shopping cart and checkout, remember certain preferences,
and protect the site from misuse.
We have configured this website to restrict non-essential cookies. This prevents
Squarespace and some third-party integrations from placing optional analytics
and performance cookies on visitors’ browsers.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels for targeted advertising.
Squarespace may still collect limited website-usage information needed to operate the site
and provide analytics. Because non-essential cookies are restricted, some visitor, conversion,
and referral information may be incomplete or less accurate.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent
some parts of the website, shopping cart, or checkout from working correctly.
8. Do Not Track and cross-site tracking
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not currently a single, universally
accepted standard for responding to these signals, this website does not respond differently
when it receives a traditional Do Not Track signal.
We do not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We also do not authorize advertising companies to track visitors across unrelated websites
on our behalf for targeted advertising.
Squarespace, payment providers, and other technical service providers may still collect device,
payment, security, or usage information as necessary to provide their services
and according to their own privacy policies.
If our tracking or advertising practices change, we will update this policy and provide
any opt-out methods required by applicable law.
9. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the reason it was collected, including:
Completing and supporting orders
Processing replacements, refunds, disputes, or chargebacks
Maintaining tax, accounting, and business records
Preventing fraud and protecting the website
Meeting legal or regulatory obligations
Resolving customer-service requests
Establishing or defending legal claims
Order and transaction records may be retained after an order is completed when needed for tax,
accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.
Marketing information is generally retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it,
although we may keep a limited suppression record so that we can continue honoring your unsubscribe request.
Information stored by our service providers may also be retained
according to their legal obligations and retention policies.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:
Tell you whether we maintain personal information about you
Provide access to or a copy of certain information
Correct inaccurate information
Delete certain information
Explain how information has been used or disclosed
Withdraw consent for certain uses
Opt out of certain forms of data sharing or targeted advertising
Because Spaghetti Press does not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising,
there is no separate sale or targeted-advertising opt-out required for our present practices.
To make a privacy request, email hello@spaghettipress.com and include enough information
for us to understand and locate the relevant records.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may also retain or decline
to delete information when necessary to complete a transaction, maintain required records,
prevent fraud, protect legal rights, or comply with the law.
We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.
11. Children’s privacy
Our notes may be made for kids, but our website and checkout are intended for grown-ups only
—including parents, caregivers, educators, and gift-givers.
The website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information
directly from children under 13.
Children under 13 should not submit an email address, join the mailing list, place an order,
or send personal information through the website.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us,
please contact hello@spaghettipress.com so that we can review and, when appropriate, delete it.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended
to protect the personal information under our control.
Our website, checkout, payment processing, and related services are provided through
third-party platforms that maintain their own security systems and obligations.
No website, payment system, email service, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed
to be completely secure. For that reason, we cannot promise absolute security.
13. Links and third-party services
The website may contain links to other websites or services, such as social-media pages,
payment providers, or shipping and tracking websites.
Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you
to review those policies before providing personal information.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if our website, technology, services, legal obligations,
or information practices change.
When we make changes, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date at the top.
If a change materially affects how we use information that has already been collected,
we will provide additional notice when appropriate, such as a notice on the website
or an email to affected individuals.
